Mill Lane are pleased to offer all of our used car customers the option to purchase two years servicing for their vehicle for a one off purchase price.

The plan is to include two years scheduled servicing including parts, labour, oils and VAT




1st Service

  • check steering and suspension
  • check operation of lights
  • check washers and wipers
  • change engine oil
  • fit new sump plug washer
  • fit new engine oil filter
  • check brake pipes and lines visually
  • check exhaust system condition
  • check front brake pads visually
  • inspect tyres and pressures
  • report on tyre tread depths
  • check cooling system for leaks
  • check antifreeze content
  • check all drive belts (not cambelt)
  • check all fluid levels
  • add screen wash and top up fluid
  • check clutch free play
  • check battery condition
  • road test* to check operation of:
    • brakes
    • steering
    • suspension
    • engine / gearbox
    • heating system
    • abnormal noises
  • check suspension dampers
  • check handbrake operation
  • fit new air filter
  • advise on cambelt change date

2nd Service

  • check operation of lights
  • check washers and wipers
  • change engine oil

What our plan includes

The service plan includes the scheduled servicing of your vehicle at the mileage and times stated in your vehicle handbook for two years. This includes labour, parts, oils and fluids as per the schedule.
Please note that all other operations are specifically excluded from this plan.
This plan is for a maximum of 2 services.

Exclusions

Plan Holder - Only the person or company named in the agreement letter is entitled to make a claim under the terms of the plan.
Geographical Area - Your service plan is valid only at a Mill Lane Group owned dealership.
False Claims - All benefits of this plan are forfeited if a fraudulent claim is made

Vehicle - Servicing to any vehicle other than that described in the Agreement is excluded.

Transfer to a new owner - The plan is transferable to a new vehicle owner at a cost of twenty five pounds

Excluded claims - This service plan excludes claims for:
1. Any item or repair not specifically listed as covered in this agreement letter
2. Loss of time, loss of use of the vehicle or consequential loss or damage of whatsoever nature

Excluded Vehicles - Any commercial vehicle over 3.5 tonnes GVW or a vehicle used in any sort of competition, rally or race vehicles, 4WD vehicles or over 2000cc and vehicles used for private hire are excluded from this plan.
